Royal Mail Awards - Voting
Voting in the Royal Mail Awards
Each young judge has one vote for their favourite book! All voting this year will be done online on our website. You must have registered a group to judge the awards in order to access the online voting.
How to vote
However you have chosen to run the awards in your organisation - in a book group, with individual pupils etc - we would like you to supervise the judging process.
All voting this year will be done on our website. You shoudl have recieved a voting link in early September or after you registered, if you cannot find it please email chris.newton@scottishbooktrust.com to recieve your link, iwthout it you will NOT be able to vote.
You will need the following information before completeing the online voting form:
- Voting Link
- The age category/ies you have judged
- The number of young judges in your group
- Votes for each book - you will be asked to specify the number of girl's votes, the number of boy's votes and the total number of votes for each book.
Collecting your pupils' votes
If you would like to run an 'official' ballot in your organisation, there is a ballot paper available to download here. You can print one off for each of your young judges, ask them to fill it in, collate them and fill in the online form with the results of the ballot.
VERY IMPORTANT!
Please check the total number of votes is equal to the number of children who have been involved in judging the awards in your organisation.
Remember! Votes MUST reach Scottish Book Trust by 7th November 2008 to be included in the final count!
